Who is Tapas
Tapas Boro is a dancer, choreographer, artist and movement creator for the theatre. He has showcased his skills by performing in international shows as well as choreographed movies and theatershows. He combines his creativity and passion to create breathtaking movements and performances.
He has trained under Terence Lewis Dance company and Danceworx in Mumbai. He has attended workshops for David Zambrano, Peter Jasko, Nathaniel Parchment, Rahul Goswami and Sujata Goyal among others.

*Disney’s India Musical The Beauty and The Beast
*Jugnee Indo Contemporary Dance Festival
*Leading artist in the Dance theatre show-Keep calm and dance, directed by Yuki Ellias, which has performed at the prestigious summertime at Prithvi and the Hindu festivals in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore in 2016.
*Hyderabad children theatre festival in 2017.
*Choreographed Maati and Menghaobi the fair one, Directed by Mahesh Dattani.
*Worked for Indian television channel Zee theatre.
*Worked as a movements director in Drama school of Mumbai.
*Represented India at an international contemporary dance festival in Mexico City.
*Choreographed theater movie Final Solutions and Where Did I Leave My Purdah.
*Gave workshop for young actors at Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company.
*Choreographer and performer in The Far Post directed by Yuki Ellias 2023 - ongoing.
